The company already had an existing accounts package, but weren’t getting any financial information. It needed a system to integrate with its stock control & POS system. It also required departmental reports for its shops and activity reports for several sales reps travelling the country.

Smart Fusion analysed the companies’ current infrastructure & requirements we were quickly able to organise the integration of the accounts package and the POS system. We also customised the accounts software to reflect the business and reengineered their workflows. This resulted in an almost immediate positive impact. The remainder of the project consisted of mainly training the end users on Sage 50 and ensuring everybody understood their role within the accounts department. Training was also provided to new staff and senior management. Monthly meetings were organised and each accounts person had to present their reports.

The Hair & Beauty Company now have a culture of weekly and monthly meetings with KPI presentations. The integration of the POS with Sage 50 has several labour hours per week. All accounts staff are continuously trained on any new software features and they have the departmental reports ready every week. Management are receiving the financial reports they require on a weekly and monthly basis and are considering expanding even further.
